Object Theory was formed with one simple mission in mind: to be your trusted partner for enterprise mixed reality solutions.
Object Theory launched in 2015 as the world’s first Microsoft HoloLens & Windows Mixed Reality company, and we’ve been a member of the Microsoft Mixed Reality Partner Program (MRPP) since early 2016. We now embrace all MR/AR/VR devices relevant to your needs. We are a team of talented developers, designers, and innovators based in Portland, Oregon, USA, serving clients globally. Michael Hoffman, Founding Partner at Object Theory, was a Principal Technical Lead on the original Microsoft HoloLens enterprise application team. Our clients benefit from his expertise in how to deliver business value with mixed reality. We truly believe that mixed reality will transform the way we work, learn, and play.
The company has been recognized for being an early pioneer in mixed reality. We are recognized as industry experts and are regularly invited to speak at various industry events. Fast Company magazine named the company as one of the "Most Innovative AR/VR Companies”, Software Development Times magazine called us "One of 17 Companies to Watch", and the analyst firm ABI Research added us to their "Hot Tech Innovators” list.
Microsoft selected Object Theory to be a partner in the Microsoft Mixed Reality Partner Program. The program connects prospective HoloLens and Windows Mixed Reality customers with trained solution providers, enabling them to develop great holographic content to help transform business.
This program allowed us to work directly with the Microsoft team on this incredible platform, gaining first-hand knowledge of what it takes to create great mixed reality experiences that provide tangible business value. And, with one of our founders having been part of the HoloLens team at Microsoft prior to forming Object Theory, we’ve had a unique perspective on the capabilities of HoloLens before it was launched publicly.
